Biography

Cynthia Salarizadeh is the Managing Partner of KCSA Strategic Communications, the Founder of AxisWire.com, Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Green Market Report as well as the Co-Founder of Industry Power Women.

Cynthia is a council member on Forbes Communications Council as well as a regular contributing writer for Entrepreneur and Marijuana Venture. She has been published on CNBC, Yahoo Finance and various trade publications with pieces highlighting on B-corps, consumer behavior economics, security and water management in the cannabis space.

As an entrepreneur, Cynthia has either founded or co-founded two companies that have successfully exited through acquisition. In addition, she is the creator of the Cannabis Trend Report and the Cannabis Brand Report.

Cynthia has either directed or assisted with communications, marketing and public relations strategies and campaigns for brands that include the United Arab Emirates, AARP, fortune 500 companies such as Harley Davidson and NASCAR, Carl Icahn’s American Casino, Entertainment Properties, and the U.S. Department of Defense.

She has experience in managing successful startups, strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, marketing strategies, media relations, strategic planning, crisis communications, branding, operations research, and analysis in the private and public sectors in the U.S. and the international arena. Her skill set is now being applied to advancing the perception of the cannabis industry for better market conditions and improved valuations for industry business leaders.

Cynthia holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a minor in Modern Middle Eastern Studies and a focus on Strategic Communications from the University of Pennsylvania. She also holds a certificate in Political Journalism with the Fund for American Studies from a program at Georgetown University.
